What We Do…

Left shoulder pain with weakness and loss of range of motion (on a pain scale of 1 to 10, rated an 8), alternating left and right knee pain (6-8/10), right ankle pain (3/10), neck pain (4/10), lower back pain (2/10), and inability to squat past 2 to 3 inches. Sounds like a mess of a patient right?

Nope, that was ME at the end of 2007!

How could I be a professional and somewhat of an authority in what I do and be such a mess physically?

That’s what I was trying to figure out back then. Fortunately by 2008, I stumbled upon a piece of equipment that has literally helped me restore and piece my body back together again: the Russian Kettlebell.

Since my introduction to the Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC), I’ve used Hardstyle Russian kettlebell training as one of my main means of training, rehabilitation, and pre-habilitation. By integrated the RKC system with my background in chiropractic, acupuncture, soft tissue, and corrective exercise techniques and I’ve been able to reduce my pain by 80%, increased my strength, flexibility, fitness (dropped from 16% to 13.25% body fat), and move MUCH better.

Warrior Restoration (WaR) restorative therapies are for the weekend, urban, and professional warrior who wants to improve or restore their body and health. To have a body that not only survives in the textbook world, but one that thrives in the real world.

  • The Weekend Warrior will be able to play better and longer,
  • The Urban Warrior will be able to work with more ease and less tension
  • The Professional Warrior will be able to perform better in any of their athletic careers/endeavors.

All of them will be stronger, more durable, and have less pain in their body.

WaR’s mission is to help achieve better health through better fitness and better fitness through better function and movement. Ultimately we link function, fitness, and skill together. WaR merges concepts and techniques from training, exercise and fitness, rehabilitation, prehabilitation, movement therapy (Russian Kettlebells), and health promoting behavior.

By merging all of these concepts and linking them together we can safely train body movement and by virtue rehab and prehab our body. Reestablishing mobility and alignment and by repeating these functional movements and corrective exercises often we train the body to be fitter, stronger, more functional, and healthier. Restore the warrior in you!
